Ruffin's President Mark Reynolds is pleased to announce that a number of Ruffin's stores achieved the coveted Reader's Choice Award in the past year. The Reader's Choice Award means a lot to our company and our stores and we are greatly appreciate the fact it is our customers who grant this award to us. Stores that have received the Reader's Choice Award in their communities are Dunnville, Hamilton Main and Sanford, Hamilton Upper Ottawa, Grimsby, Caledonia, Georgetown, St Catharines and Stratford.

Reader's Choice Awards are run by individual local newspapers and votes for different categories are collected from subscribers. Ruffin's stores have won in the Best Pet Store category, with many stores winning in multiple consecutive years.

Bedford Nova Scotia. Ruffin's Pet Centres is pleased to announce that Ed and Roslyn Kozak of Sunrise Coast Pets Inc. Have purchased the Bedford franchise. Ed and Roslyn have a few improvements in mind for this successful location increasing it's appeal to it's many loyal customers. First in mind is the installation of a new computer system that will allow customers to accumulate points on their purchases. Watch for their great buy 10 get 1 free program on pet foods to start soon.

Caledonia, Ontario. Our franchisee, Bonnie Johnson, has successfully completed her second expansion in the last 6 years. The latest expansion is a 50% increase in the retail space in the store. "As our product selection continues to grow we needed more space in order to effectively display the new items" explained Bonnie. Ruffin's has over 10,000 items available for its' customers and the Caledonia store usually has over 2,000 items in stock.

We are pleased to be the largest pet store in the community and Bonnie look forwards to continue to offer her customers the largest pet product selection in the area.
