Ruffin's President Mark Reynolds is pleased to announce that a number of Ruffin's stores acheived the coveted Reader's Choice Award in the past year. The Reader's Choice award means a lot to our company and our stores and we are greatly appreciate the fact it is our customers who grant this award to us. Stores that have received the Reader's Choice Award in their communities are Dunnville. Hamilton Main and Sanford, Hamilton Upper Ottawa, Grimsby, Caledonia, Georgetown, Milton, St Catharines and Stratford.

Reader's Choice Awards are run by individual local newspapers and votes for different categories are collected from subscribers. Ruffin's stores have won in the Best Pet Store category, with many stores winning in multiple consecutive years.

Summer 2009

St Catharines, Ontario. 

"Another great year at Niagara Dog Fest" declared Debbie Cosby, the franchisee for the St Catharines store and one of the sponsors of Niagara dog Fest. There were thousands of happy dog owners in attendance and the booth was a big hit. This year Debbie and her staff featured great foods like Orijen, Ruffin's Choice Natural, Taste of the Wild and Lifetime. They also showed the many visitors to the booth a few of the unique items Ruffin's carries like Organic dog soap, a very effective pet itch relief spray called ProDerm and our very popular lawn protection biscuits.

Debbie and her staff introduced the new Ruffin's Pet First book, a first aid guide for dogs, at the show and gave away over 100 copies to very grateful pet owners.

Debbie would like to thank the organizers of Dog Fest for their tireless efforts to put on the show and especially all the the folks and their dogs that attended. Without them this day just couldn't happen.
